The Senior HR Operations Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing our HR systems and policies. This role is crucial for enhancing organizational effectiveness by optimizing HRIS functionalities, ensuring robust policy frameworks, and maintaining compliance with legal standards. The Senior HR Operations Manager will also spearhead major implementation projects and drive continuous improvements across all HR functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic HR Administration & Operational Management: Lead the management of day-to-day HR administrative and operational tasks, enhancing process efficiency and compliance across the employee lifecycle.
- Advanced HRIS Optimization: Serve as the senior owner of the HRIS (Bob), working with the HR Systems and data specialist ensuring its optimal performance in supporting strategic HR functions including, onboarding, performance management, and compensation planning.
- Project Leadership in Implementation: Direct major HRIS implementation or enhancement projects, ensuring they align with strategic business objectives and integrate seamlessly with existing processes.
- Senior Process Improvement: Drive the evaluation and refinement of HR processes, utilizing advanced technological solutions to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
- System Maintenance & Strategic Upgrades: Oversee system upgrades and configurations, collaborating with IT and external partners to ensure the HRIS remains cutting-edge and user-friendly.
- Data Integrity & Security Oversight: Ensure the highest standards of data accuracy and security, adhering to stringent data protection regulations.
- Expert Training & Support: Partner with the Learning & Development team to develop high-level training and resources, enabling optimal use of HR systems across the organization.
- Change Management & Support: Lead change management initiatives, providing strategic training and support in collaboration with the L&D team.
- Senior Systems Liaison: Work closely with HR System and Data Specialist, overseeing relationships with system providers and resolving complex issues.
- HR Policies & Compliance Leadership: Develop and update HR policies and handbooks, collaborating with senior leadership and legal experts to ensure compliance and relevancy.
- Executive Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with senior management and cross-functional teams to align HR strategies and operations, ensuring a seamless service delivery that meets organizational goals.
- Regulatory Compliance & Governance: Keep abreast of evolving employment laws and HR trends to proactively adjust practices and policies, ensuring compliance at all levels.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; extensive experience in HR, with a focus on HR systems management and policy development in a leadership role.
- Skills: Expertise in HRIS systems management, particularly Bob. Exceptional organizational, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. Deep knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Excellent communication and high-level stakeholder management skills.
