Role Description:

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, fostering collaboration across teams, and delivering actionable insights. You will work closely with various internal departments to ensure financial alignment, support decision-making, and optimize business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Decision Support:

Partner with internal teams to deliver financial insights and strategic recommendations, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
Analyze financial performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and propose actions to maximize value.
Support business case development and assess the financial impacts of strategic initiatives.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting:

Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Track and analyze performance against budgets, presenting clear and actionable reports to stakeholders.

Financial Analysis & Risk Management:

Perform detailed financial analysis, with a focus on P&L performance and cash flow.
Identify financial risks and opportunities, recommending and implementing mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

Build strong relationships with internal teams, becoming a trusted financial advisor.
Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.

Governance & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with corporate policies and governance frameworks.
Work with legal and compliance teams to uphold regulatory adherence.

Candidate Specification:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CFA, ACA, or MBA preferred).

Experience:

5+ years of finance or accounting experience, with a focus on FP&A, business partnering, or similar roles.
Demonstrated success in financial modeling, budgeting, and analysis.
Solid understanding of financial governance and risk management practices.

Skills & Abilities:

Advanced financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at influencing decisions and building strong relationships.
Proficiency in Excel and exceptional attention to detail.
Results-driven, with a proactive and critical-thinking mindset.
