As a Junior IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. You will provide technical assistance to employees, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Helpdesk Support:
- Respond to incoming support requests.
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Document and track support cases for resolution.
Desktop Support:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
- Provide user training on IT systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
Network Support:
- Assist with network administration tasks, such as user account management and access control.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
IT Infrastructure Support:
- Assist with the maintenance and upgrade of IT infrastructure components (e.g., servers, routers, switches).
- Contribute to IT projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware and software.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
